We are very proud to share that our colleagues Leonardo Pierantozzi and Till Schmidt achieved 2nd place in the Sustainable Microwave Technologies Design & Demo Competition at European Microwave Week 2026 (EuMW 2026) in London.
Their demo, “Sustainable Zero-Power Backscatterer with Acoustic Sensing Capabilities for Acoustic Emission Testing,” combines microwave technology, acoustic sensing and sustainability to explore new approaches for acoustic emission testing — a great example of how innovative RF and microwave solutions can contribute to a more sustainable future.
The competition was a fantastic opportunity to showcase their work to an international community of researchers, engineers and industry professionals.
