Till Schmidt, PhD student at the University of Bordeaux, presented his poster “Intermodulation-Based Non-linear Behavior Prediction Towards Electronic Waste Reduction” at the European Microwave Week 2025 (EuMW 2025).
The work proposes an innovative two-tone intermodulation technique to analyze the non-linear behavior of electronic components without requiring direct DC measurements.
By observing intermodulation products around a lower center frequency, the method enables the reconstruction of device parameters from harmonic responses, providing a frequency-domain approach for contactless characterization.
This research was carried out within the framework of the REMPOWER project, funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe programme (Grant Agreement No. 10116175).
